Read the falling kana and type its romaji reading. Academy shows a training label beneath each kana for its first three appearances.

A matching answer charges the signal cannon and locks a reticle onto its target. Press Enter to fire. Misses weaken the city signal.

Build streaks for score multipliers, slower time and increasingly wild effects.

Fast gold signals appear on a random timer, not because of your combo. Missile Link stores four Academy shots; in Endless it runs for 30 seconds and repeated gold catches stack the wingman salvo.

The academy remembers troublesome kana and brings them back using spaced practice.

Hard Endless adds armoured signals, increasingly long Golden Words and optional colour-coded Comet Kana carrying Cryo, Thermite, EMP or Rebound ammunition. Missing a comet is safe.
